Prompts are organized alphabetically; I'd love to receive anything for any of these combinations, but have included prompts in case you find them useful. I've requested fic and art for all requests.

Biggles Series

Erich von Stalhein/Biggles

I love the slow development of their relationship across decades and Biggles's continuous attempts to win Erich over, including when he is being held prisoner. Any period of their relationship is welcome, including post-Hatchet! These two lend themselves to the intimacy of hurt/comfort very well.

Please note that adding supernatural/magical elements to canon (particularly where required by the allopreening or werewolf freeforms) does not violate my setting change DNW and is something I enjoy reading! Regarding the feminization freeform: I'd prefer if it wasn't something humiliating, but part of undercover work or kink (or both).

For all of these, I'd be happy to receive tones ranging between "mired in grief" and "fluff" (with optional foreshadowing). For art, I'd prefer if appearances didn't pull exclusively from the Rings of Power. I'd be very happy with any of these characters being people of color.

Aredhel & Maeglin

I can’t imagine Eol was very involved with Maeglin’s hair care as a child or adult. Is Maeglin still wearing the hairstyles Aredhel taught him later in Gondolin? If there are particular gendered hairstyles, does Aredhel know how to do the male ones? I would also be happy with AU where Aredhel doesn't die, or where they end up in Celegorm & Curufin's lands instead of Gondolin. Or Fourth Age Valinor!

(Trans headcanons of any gender are welcome for Maeglin.)

(Beren &) Luthien & Dior

There's so much focus on Luthien's hair, and Dior has clearly inherited a lot from her. I'd love to see bonding moments, either between mother and son or the family as a unit.

Curufin & Celebrimbor

I’d love to see anything for this, particularly if it highlights the very complicated relationship between them. If there is a specific style of hair for mourning, does Celebrimbor wear it, or consider doing so, after he hears of his father’s death? I’m very open to Celebrimbor being born anytime between the Years of the Trees and arrival in Nargothrond, so he can be as old as you need him to be. (Though I'd prefer he was a full [if young] adult by the time Curufin and Celegorm leave Nargothrond, I'm not gonna check your math.)

Elwing (& Elrond [& Elros])

For Elwing solo: I would love to see her daily routine in Sirion or Alqualonde, or some moments of her very early childhood. How birdlike does she remain?

Daily life in Sirion overlaps with Elros & Elrond as well; how old were they during the third kinslaying? How much do they remember of Elwing? I'm also happy with anything set in Fourth Age Valinor between Elrond & Elwing.

Galadriel (& Celebrían)

Galadriel has so much going on with her hair; what is any of that like from her perspective? (I’m particularly thinking about Feanor’s request for her hair.)

What’s Galadriel like as a mother? What is her relationship with Celebrían like? While I would be happy with a younger Celebrían, I'd love to see them both as adult women as well.

For art, I do particularly love the Galadriel cast in the 2014 Finrod rock opera (the flowers! the jewelry!), but am also fine with a different visual interpretation.

Maedhros & Maglor

What was their hair like during the Years of the Trees? Are there elaborate styles that fall out of favor afterwards? Is Maedhros’s hair damaged by Angband? Is the king expected to wear different hair styles? For mourning, I would love to see what Maglor does when he's the only one left, or what they do when burying their siblings particularly after the second kinslaying.

I’ve also requested the slash version of this in the other set of Silm requests. Feel free to pull prompts from either set for these two, regardless of whether the fic/art ends up & or /.

Variations on Maedhros & Maglor & Elros & Elrond

I'm so intrigued by the tiny snippet of their life together we get in the Silm. What does "love grew after between them" look like on a day-to-day basis? Where is Maedhros in the equation? I'm equally happy with fluff and angst or something in between, though I do love undercurrents of unacknowledged trauma in either. Do Elros and Elrond have a different type of hair from Maedhros and Maglor? Is this a functional task that becomes bonding? Is it emotionally painful for the twins? Is it emotionally painful for the adults?

Elrond is singled out in these requests because I would also be very interested in something set in Fourth Age Valinor.

Galadriel/Melian

I would love something with Galadriel in Doriath, either as Melian’s friend or her student. Sweetness is welcome, as is eldritch Maia Melian. If Galadriel and Melian are in an established relationship, I'd prefer Thingol (and Celeborn, if relevant) to be fine with it, though that doesn't have to be mentioned. (It does not have to come up at all, but I do prefer an interpretation where Galadriel was complicit in the kinslaying, even if not extensively.)

For art, I do particularly love the look of Galadriel in the 2014 Finrod rock opera (the flowers! the jewelry!), but am also fine with a different visual interpretation.

Indis/Míriel

What is their relationship like prior to Miriel’s death? Are they friends? If Miriel’s not-corpse needs tending, does Indis take care of her hair when she visits? I would also love something where Miriel comes back to live in Tirion after Feanor’s death (or Finwe’s) and they navigate being dowager queens of the Noldor together.

(Implied present or future Indis/Miriel/Finwe is welcome.)

Lúthien/Thuringwethil

I would love something horny or horny-inflected for this; romance is not at all necessary. I really don’t have a mental image of what Thuringwethil looks like (even on a level of, like, how many limbs she has), so feel free to go nuts with this!

Maedhros solo

I'm happy with any M/M pairing being included in this (except for cross-generational incest), including non-consensual Sauron/Maedhros. What does Maedhros feel about his hair, particularly throughout time? Is it damaged in Angband? Does it grow back the same?

Maedhros/Maglor

I would be equally happy with fluffy sex/romance (particularly during the Years of the Trees) and grim, "we’ve already done so much worse so how big of a deal is incest really?"-flavored sex/romance.

I've also requested the platonic version of this in the other set of Silm requests. Feel free to pull from those freeforms as well, regardless of whether the fic/art ends up / or &.

Maedhros/Fingon

I would love something sweet between these two, a little moment of escape (whether from the din of their respective families or war). I would also be happy with something grief-flavored post-Fingon’s death. For art, I would really love something set around Maedhros’s rescue or Fingon's coronation.

Sauron(/Celebrimbor)

I would love to see hair as an element of disguise/seduction. Sauron is very concerned with his fana appearing attractive, but does it feel like part of him? I would also really love it if Maia hair is prehensile/otherwise less like hair than other species because his fana is all made out of the same material. Sauron’s hair being strange-to-the-point-of-body-horror is welcome, as long as his partner is into it. Sauron/Melkor or (non-romantic) Sauron/Ar-Pharazon is welcome in the solo request.

For Sauron/Celebrimbor, all the same applies. I would love to see Sauron assuming he’s above any Elvish beliefs/feelings about hair only to discover he’s really not. I’d prefer something loving for this; I particularly like when Sauron’s feelings are accidentally sincere. However, that can be by Sauron’s definition of “loving;” post-torture pre-death (or post-death) upsettingly-gentle haircare is welcome.

Time Master

Tarod/Yandros

There is such focus on their hair in canon and I think they should be allowed to describe touching it in detail. I would really love an emphasis on the sensory aspects for this. I’m happy with something set during any period of time! Some freeforms might fit human or god eras better than others, but I'm fine with however you decide to use them. I’d really love it if Yandros doing his hair was something human Tarod expected to be a (literal) nightmare, and then it just…wasn’t.

Mentions of Cyllan/Tarod and Sashka/Tarod are both fine.
